Dr. Abdullah-Al-Mamun is a dedicated and dynamic pediatric surgeon with special expertise and vast experience in pediatric surgery, pediatric urology, neonatal surgery, pediatric colorectal surgery, pediatric tumor surgery, pediatric neurosurgery, pediatric Laparoscopy & cystoscopy, cosmetic surgeries for congenital anomalies with great skills and excellent results by grace of Allah. He is committed to provide best surgical care for children through ongoing research and evidence-based practices. Dr.Abdullah-Al-Mamun was born in jashore, Passed SSC from Police line school, and HSC from Cantonment college jashore, He passed MBBS from Rajshahi medical college 2015 & joined Bangladesh Shishu Hospital and Institute, previously known as Dhaka Shishu Hospital in 2016 in MS Residency course. He was dedicated to his work and patients throughout his career at BSHI. During MS Residency dr.mamun joined Bangladesh civil service(BCS) and provide service in Remote area of bangladesh. Dr. Mamun kept up-to-date with his academic and research skills, which allowed him to receive his MS in pediatric surgery in 2023 from BSHI under Bangladesh medical university.He is also studying in Royal College of surgeons for MRCS osce in UK. Now he is working in Rajshahi medical college hospital and regularly perform hundreds of challenging operations.He also maintain Outdoor service for children, who needs surgical care. Dr.Mamun enjoy to teach MBBS students, also mentor for FCPS and MS trainee in RMCH. This person has an exceptional history in scientific research, having presented numerous papers at national and international conferences and publishing highly respected research articles. He also holds a prestigious role as member of the Association of Pediatric Surgeons of Bangladesh (APSB). In 2025 he established "Child surgery centre(শিশু সার্জারী সেন্টার) " to provide modern surgical care for children with surgical needs in Bangladesh. This organization aims to improve the infrastructure and human resources in pediatric surgery in Bangladesh. His vision is to ensure that every child in the country has access to the latest surgical care available.
